About the role
On behalf of our client, a group of brands focused on domain registration, hosting and cloud services, we are currently looking for a self-driven 2nd Level Technical Support Representative, to join its technical support department.
A day in the life of a 2nd Level Technical Support - Linux (100% remote)
You will be highly motivated with web hosting and ambitious about a career in technical support. The person will join the technical support department, in-house or remotely, in order to enhance the quality of support offered to the highest standards.
Your day-to-day
- Assist in providing technical support for Hosting, Dedicated and VPS clients
- Partial infrastructure monitoring and issue reporting to the infrastructure team
- Hosting-related duties
- Enrich and improve the technical knowledge base according to customer requests
What you will need
- Experience with Linux operating system environments
- Experience with web and DB servers, such as Apache and MySQL
- Experience with mail services, such as postfix, dovecot, smtp, imap, pop3, sieve
- Experience with DNS services, such as Bind , PowerDNS
- Experience with Plesk or cPanel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Greek
