On behalf of our client, one of the most well-known Insurance Multinational Groups specializing in insurance, banking and financial services, we are currently looking for a passionate BI Engineer to join their experienced IT team.

A day in the life of a BI Engineer

You will report to the Software Development Manager and you will contribute, as a member of a talented team to design and implement DWH practices as well as produce reports and work closely with data sets.

Your day-to-day

• Design and implement DWH/Data Marts/KPls
• Design and implement transformation procedures (ETL)
• Troubleshoot data integration errors and identify the data  issues between data sources/targets
• Define and document complex technical design/requirements for integrations and data warehousing
• Support and maintain IFRS-17 workflows
• Research, analyze and define technical problems and recommend alternative solutions
• Acting as a liaison between different departments of the company (technical and non-technical)

What you will need

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or related field area
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a BI/DWH role
• Experience in complex query techniques and advanced analytical functions
• Experience in design of ETL procedures and SSIS/SSRS
• Experience in the insurance industry will be considered a plus
• Fluency in English
