On behalf of our client, a breaking-through IT Services company owning an innovative next generation decision support system provided to clients worldwide, we are currently looking for a self- driven Data Analyst, to join its passionate data-driven team.

A day in the life of a Data Analyst

You will be part of an innovative team that builds next generation decision support systems. Technical skills and critical thinking to solve intellectually challenging problems is a must have for this role. Additionally you will have the chance to explore new knowledge paths, work with real data and build real systems.

Your day-to-day

• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
• Communicate specifications and solutions to the clients to a clear way
• Plan and effectively conduct Key/End users’ trainings
• Perform data analysis to validate requirements and the proposed functional solution
• Define metrics and set up automated reports and dashboards
• Plan, prepare and monitor User Acceptance Test (UAT), support Client during execution and selectively execute Business Scenarios where necessary
• Provide post-production support to ensure smooth transition to Service Management after go live
• Carry out reporting and communication to all related stakeholders throughout the project stages
• Own and develop trusted relationship with our clients, working close with them to maximize client satisfaction from our services and solutions
• Constantly be on the outlook for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the client
• Communicate key insights and findings to product team that drives and evolves the software solutions

What you will need

• BSc in Computer Science or any other relevant degree
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar position
• Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis packages (pandas, numpy, scikit learn etc.)
• Hands-on experience in Database Management Systems (SQL or/and NoSQL)
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to travel abroad when is required
• Experience working in cross-functional, multinational teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Great to have

• Knowledge of business industry (ideally retail) and business structure
• Basic knowledge of machine learning pipelines
• Experience in demand forecasting, supply chain optimization or enterprise planning software
