On behalf of our client, a market leader within the telecom sector, we are currently looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join their high-caliber infrastructure team and to assist to the Microsoft systems maintenance and optimization.

A day in the life of a Database Administrator

You will be an expert in Databases administration principles and able to demonstrate a good knowledge on Microsoft databases. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about databases. You are committed to produce high quality services.

Your day-to-day

• Day-to-day support, design, monitoring, troubleshooting and administration of database
• Create and run ETL processes
• Regular batch processes for databases maintenance
• Reports creation via Reporting Services platform
• Ensure database security best practice is met
• Respond to issues and support calls, including security incidents

What you will need

• Ideally, at least 5+ years hands-on production experience on SQL Server Database Administration
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Analysis
• Solid exposure to ETL processes
• Experience of supporting SQL Server database elements, including: Patching, Backup/Recovery, Replication
• Experience in SQL Server Database Performance Tuning and Query Optimization techniques
• Excellent command of English (written & verbal)
