On behalf of our client, a major provider of embedded positioning and wireless communication solutions, focused on IoT covering projects worldwide, we are currently looking for a self-motivated IC and Verification Engineer, to join its experienced and high skilled team of professionals based in Athens.

A day in the life of an IC and Verification Engineer

The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to own and contribute in IPs and Top level verification and validations activities in UVM, Formal Verification and FW driven methodologies while using EDA tools and in Lab environments using FPGA and ICs.  You will be part of a growing international and multi-site team responsible for SoC verification.

Your day-to-day

• Ensure the quality of IPs and SoC firmware driven and UVM verification and validation of wireless communication systems
• Be responsible for verification and validation requirements and plans and execution of these owned and other defined plans
• Develop C based FW tests, test sequences and verification environments, verification components and functional coverage using UVM methodologies to meet verification targets
• Develop and reuse existing FW in pre- and post-silicon environments such as FPGA prototypes, ASIC simulators and lab environments
• Investigate issues, debug designs, FW tests and verification benches (RTL and Gate Level) using simulation tools and board (Silicon and FPGA)
• Verificate and validate flow implementation and updates targeting EDA tools
• Mentor and support junior team members

What you will need

• Degree in Electrical or Communication Engineering with evidence or minimum 4-5 years of experience in a relevant role
• Firm expertise with HDL languages for verification (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog)
• Firm expertise in Verification methodologies, their applications to concrete projects and hands-on expertise to develop test benches, verification environments, verification components, functional coverage at block and top level
• Knowledge and experience in other areas will be highly appreciated: SystemVerilog, Real Number Modeling, DPIs, Python, Emulation)
