On behalf of our client, a world leader in Telecommunications and real time solutions, we are currently looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer, to join its multinational team and work within innovative, scrum-oriented projects.

A day in the life of a QA Engineer

You will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Either you are a professional with QA Automation exposure or a software developer who wish to become a QA Engineer then this is your chance to become part of an Agile/Scrum team that strives for innovation.

Your day-to-day

• Analyze, estimate, plan and execute, test plans for new features and regression activities
• System configuration and maintenance based on complex customer environments and cloud deployments
• Continuous Ιntegration and Automation testing operations
• Support Product’s delivery activities
• Identify, document and track bugs
• Identify quality improvements of product’s different areas

What you will need

• BSc in Computer Science or any other relevant field
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in a QA or software development role
• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
• Experience with version control, defect tracking and test management tools
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Programming skills in at least one scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python)
• Experience with Linux environment

Great to have

• Experience with Test Automation tools and framework (e.g. Jenkins, Selenium)
• Knowledge of Java
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• ISTQB foundation level or higher
