On behalf of our client, a leader in the Energy Services and Solutions, we are currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior PHP Developer, to join its development team.

A day in the life of a Senior PHP Developer

You will work on the implementation and maintenance of web-based software applications. You will have a multi-functional role in which you will work directly with internal clients and external partners to solve business problems using modern web technologies, design creative and efficient solutions and contribute to all SDLC phases from user stories to coding and deployment.

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop, test and create software aligned to the needs of the business
• Maintain and assist in the implementation of software applications
• Interact with clients and partners and solve business problems
• Create innovative solutions using modern technologies

What you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in application development, including software design, implementation and testing
• Extensive experience with PHP, OOP, MVC frameworks like Symfony and Laravel, TDD and VM tools
• Experience with REST APIs, HTML, Bootstrap/ CSS, JavaScript/ jQuery and Git
• Database modeling and development skills with MySQL or MS SQL Server

Great to have

• Exposure to Agile development practices, methods and frameworks
• Business analysis skills and a track record of gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience in energy market and exposure in large-scale enterprise application and data management projects
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI is considered a plus
