On behalf of our client, a leader in the ferry booking market, we are currently looking for a self- driven Senior PHP Developer, to join its development team. 

A day in the life of a Senior PHP Developer

You will provide solutions and assist in the building of the best search and booking engine for ferries in the Europe. You need to have an agile mindset, in order to join an exceptional engineering team, practicing real scrum. You are the best fit for the role, if you enjoy problem solving and technical challenges!

Your day-to-day

• Implement application features to improve customer experience
• Troubleshoot application and code issues
• Improve application features to enhance performance
• Be part of a Scrum team focused on delivering business value incrementally and assessing progress
• Help the team to continuously improve in technical skills and performance

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of extensive experience with PHP
• Exceptional knowledge of object-oriented design and related concepts
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular PHP web framework (Laravel, Symfony, Zend)
• Solid experience with at least one relational database (MySQL, MariaDB)
• Experience with test-driven development in PHP using PHPUnit
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral
