On behalf of our client, a well-established software company, an innovator in web applications and the E-commerce sector, we are currently looking for a self-driven UI Designer, to join its software development team in Thessaloniki, or work fully remotely, if senior enough.

A day in the life of a UI Designer 

As a UI Designer, you will report to the Head of Design and work closely with designers, project managers, and developers with an intensely collaborative and iterative mindset, constantly displaying the ability to balance client and user needs at every stage of the process from research to wireframes to visual design. You will work closely with other Designers to create a competitive advantage and offer a unique online experience to the company’s customers.

Your day to day

• Research on customer competition, in the wider market and monitor best practices.

• Collaborate with your team to design and build products that you feel genuinely proud of.
• Undertake or assign the maintenance and optimization of implemented solutions.
• Present, communicate and documents the design proposals he/she has developed
• Design and update the company’s archive with branded templates.
• Present, communicate and documents the design proposals he/she has developed.
• Participate in design team reviews, sharing, and brainstorms.

What you will need

• 3+ years of experience working in a similar role 
• A portfolio that reflects your ability to uncover and utilize business truths, user behaviors, best-in-class visual design solutions that help define a great product or service.

• Experience in prototyping and interaction design.

• Fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple UIs.

• Motivated by feedback, and by the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how you work together as a team.

• Addicted to staying ahead of desktop and mobile best practices, developments, and trends in web, mobile and iOS design.
