Key Accountabilities

• Database installation, configuration, and administration
• Monitor and tune the database
• Application installation, configuration, and management
• Monitor application usage and performance
• Access management
• Write of database or application procedures manuals, including disaster recovery plans
• Database / application incident management
• Coordinate database and application support

• Good knowledge of DBMS administration
• Good knowledge of ORACLE DBMS
• Good knowledge of sq. Particularly pl-sq
• Experience with ITIL
• Experience in user support
• Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix, Linux)
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication
• Capable of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting ability, and experience in working in a team
• Able to cope with fast-changing technologies
