On behalf of our client, a big-hit Fintech start- up innovator, specialized in payment services, we are currently looking for a self- driven Lead PHP Developer, to join its IT team.

A day in the life of a Lead PHP Developer

You will be an expert in planning and executing software solutions in a Fintech environment combined with a start-up mentality and also able to obtain a leading and coordinating role in an extremely innovative product. You must be a driven, hard-working and passionate about creating an inspiring project from scratch. You will be the lead developer of your technology in the team project and recommend process improvements.

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop, test and create software aligned to the needs of the business
• Troubleshoot and support the product and the infrastructure
• Test releases, updates, and enhancements to business information applications
• Expand your strong foundation of development and obtain knowledge to relevant technologies

What you will need

• 5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer
• Strong experience and exposure to PHP and Laravel framework
• Good knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
• Good experience with vanilla JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and HTML
• Knowledge of version control system (Git)
• Ability to analyze visual designs into design patterns

Great to have

• Experience in creating composer packages, using version control systems like Git and writing tests with PHPUnit
• Working knowledge of database query optimization
• Experience in the development of REST APIs
• Ability to refactor non testable code
