A day in the life of a QA Engineer

You will be an expert in manual testing. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about testing web application. You are committed to delivering to deadlines and helping the team make the transition to automated testing. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humor a bonus!

Your day-to-day

• Plan and execute all software development life-cycle testing tasks for new product development and for support/bug-fix releases
• Execute manual testing on our web application
• Conduct pre and post release testing
• Utilize various types of testing to ensure product performance, integrity and functional quality
• Help drive the transition to automated testing
• Be part of an agile scrum team

What you will need

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT or other relevant fields
• 2-3 years’ experience in software testing (manual)
• Experience in testing tools and testing processes
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and processes
• Experience in producing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases and manual tests
