On behalf of our client, a multinational leader in manufacturing sector, we are currently looking for a self-driven Senior Software Engineer (MES expert), to join its team. 

A day in the life of a Senior Software Engineer (MES expert)

You will be an expert in software applications and responsible for the development, installation and maintenance of software applications, including MES for Manufacturing IT and the production’s infrastructure. You will also collaborate and communicate with global MES teams and assist in project management procedures.

Your day-to-day

• Development, debugging, testing and support of the MES systems and databases, in collaboration with the Global MES teams
• Maintain, support, and develop existing software applications in response to business needs
• Analyze current processes and technologies, contributing to the delivery of new IT solutions
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Design and build innovative answers to complex business and IT challenges

What you will need

• B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) deployment and support
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and all its components (T-Sql, Reporting Services, Integration Services)
• Experience in Project Management
• Excellent command of English and Greek language (written and verbal)

Nice to Have

• Experience in Shelly, Coswin, Power BI, Qlikview, Web applications, will be considered a plus 
• Proficient coding in at least one major programming language (e.g. .Net, C#, Delphi, Java) with the ability to program an API, is a plus
• Knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One (or similar ERP software), will be considered a plus
