On behalf of our client, a multinational leading company in the field of travel industry we are currently looking for a self-driven Systems Administrator to join their top-quality Technology/ Systems department based in Athens. 

A day in the life of a Systems Administrator

You will be responsible to design, oversee and maintain the corporate IT network, along with the security function. The position should match your preferences, if you are eager to act as a consultant and participate in upgrading IT areas.

Your day to day

• Design and implement corporate IT systems
• Compose technical specifications, appraisals and IT equipment
• Assure quality for IT services
• Develop and organize cloud systems
• Ensure that cloud architecture solutions meet the strategic needs of the company
• Standardize methodologies for building and operating highly available, scalable services
• Provide technical support
• Monitor maintenance contracts
• Conduct Software and Hardware troubleshooting
• Maintain and upgrade installed applications
• Secure efficient operation of IT systems both software and hardware
• Design and implement security on IT corporate landscape
• Safeguard company’s data and prevent unauthorized access
• Coordinate contacts for 3rd party providers and partners for IT issues

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant position
• Strong experience in Azure, Office 365 and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft enterprise products
• IT related professional certifications/qualifications will be considered an asset
• In depth understanding of IT solutions
• Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
